I recently tried Intuit QuickBooks, but quickly (sic) determined it wasn't good enough for my expectations. The UI is ugly as in "Windows 3.1" ugly, and the reconcile options are terrible.
Anyhow, that's not the subject of this post. I wanted to share with you a message I got while uninstalling the software. It's in French, but you'll get the point!

In short, you can read "The XYZ file cannot be used by other applications. You can delete that file, but that can <HalfHidden>prevent other applications to work correctly. Press</HalfHidden>".
I should have used Spy++ to get the label's text (clipped like that, it probably uses a handle!). I can only imagine that the rest of the sentence is "Press Yes to delete the file. Press No to keep the file. Press Cancel to stop the operation and leave your system in an unknown state". Reminds me of the necessity and coolness of
Task Dialogs in Vista. But what if the rest of the message was instead "Press Yes if you think other applications require this file. Press No if...".
Argh!!! I checked "Do not display this message" and pressed "Yes". Who cares...
