Weird router problem

I have a very strange problem with my D-Link router. When FolderShare is running on one of my computers, the router reboots about every 30 seconds. It seems this application is causing some kind of stack overflow or other similar problem with the router. Though I did not monitor the packet types sent by FolderShare, I see no unusually high traffic. I suspect some broadcasting that causes a loop in the router. It may even be my fault with my current setup, though I didn't change much from the defaults. I can do much bigger bandwidth-consuming operations without any glitch.

I'll try D-Link's technical support, to see if they have an answer, and keep you posted. Now, in the meantime, what can I use to sync my computers?
