My friend and ex-colleague Pascal Bourque is jumping more seriously into his TuneSleeve adventure. He just launched Polkapps, the company name under which the support and development of TuneSleeve will continue and improve.
This is doubly a very good news, as I have been bugging him for years now about blogging. He says he's committed to use this new medium to talk about his development and life experiences, not only as a release note publisher. Pascal is probably the most articulated, inspired, meticulous and knowledgeable developer I've ever worked with. Only good stuff could ever come out of him blogging. I'm subscribed! I'll stop the sales pitch here, pressure from the outside is not the best source of motivation (though a little can't hurt).
Now, Xceed lovers, don't fear, Pascal is not quitting his day job. The success with TuneSleeve has put a lot of pressure on him to continue to improve his software. What else than start a company, a new web site, a blog and (I suspect) a new support media (forums?) could a meticulous person like him do? He's still very (very!) much excited and involved with the Xceed DataGrid for WPF. I hear "1.1" often lately...
Good luck my friend. And have fun!
