I used to sync my Dell DJ within Windows XP, but since I rarely boot in XP anymore, I decided to sync it in Vista. So I booted in XP, opened Windows Media Player, and cancelled the "partnership" with my Dell DJ.
Then I tried rebooting in Vista, but the XP shutdown step froze. Bah, must be a glitch I told myself. I forced the reboot, logged in Vista, opened Windows Media Player and selected a new partneship with my Dell DJ:
What? Can you be less precise please? When is "later"? In a few minutes maybe? Or an hour? How about a day?
As a developer, it's not the fact that it failed without clues that affects me the most. It's knowing another developer or technical writer deliberately wrote that message in Windows Media Player's code.
