Just found out that Google allows you to search for pages that appeared either the past day, week, month and more. For example, you can search for "slimKEYS" only in the past day using this URL:
http://www.google.com/search?as_q=slimKEYS&as_qdr=d
Or the past week using this URL:
http://www.google.com/search?as_q=slimKEYS&as_qdr=w
I've added an entry in my slimSEARCH config. If you want to do the same, here's how:
- Open the slimKEYS hotkey window (Win-K).
- Select your slimSEARCH hotkey and press Enter (or double-click).
- Press the "Add a new search entry" button (
). - Select the "Custom Web Search" entry type.
- Change the Search Access options as you wish. I've used this:

- Use the following Search Pattern:
http://www.google.com/search?as_q={keywords}&as_qdr=w
Now, I can search in the last 7 days by either pressing Alt-7 after my keywords, or preceding them by "g7 ". Cool!
