I'm looking for a software which can help me split the bills with my friends. I found that Dutchtab is useful and is very closed to what i';m looking for, I hope you would consider adding some features to make it perfect.

Every weekends, i hang out with friends for dinners, movies etc.  We split the bill evenly but the problem is, we don't usually balance the amount immediately. For example, in a birthday party, A bought the cake, B paid for the dinner, C paid the gifts,etc.  It's difficult to caluclate who should own who, and how much as well. Usually we also forgot which bills have been settled already and which bills have not, and also, who has paid for his part and who hasn't yet...

I guess it's just a very simple feature but i'm sure it's extremely useful.

First, sorry about the late answer, a problem with the forums prevented me from receiving a notification about your post. After all, you're the first to post in the DutchTab forums (hurray!).

Very soon, there will be a new release of DutchTab which will support these features:

• Split bills evenly, not only on prorata.
• Support taxes for splitting bills with items of different taxes.

This new version will now be free.

The version after that will allow you to enter someone's payment and follow debts per person.
