GrocerySort - Screenshots
When you create a new grocery list, you're asked for a title and a place. You can click the "+" button to create
a new place.
You will enter the items you wish to purchase in the Item field, with optional details just below. Name-completion in the Item
field allows you to enter only the beginning of item names. The application will suggest matching item names you have entered before. When names are
suggested, you can press the up and down arrow to cycle through suggestions.
Both the Item and Details fields allows you to press Enter to add the item. You can slide items to the left to quickly
delete them. Entering an item name for a second time simply updates the existing item's details.
By default, the list is sorted every time you enter a new item. This can be turned off in the application options (main screen, More menu).
You can press the Up arrow button to hide the edition fields. This gets you more screen space for your list while shopping. Clicking any
item will scratch it as "bought". You can click again to undo this. The application will remember in what order you scratched items, and use that
information to sort your subsequent grocery lists.
The More menu allows you to switch back to edition view.
When creating new places, you can mark them as virtual. Grocery lists you assign to those special places cannot be used to scratch
items. Instead, they become static grocery lists you can reuse (see next screenshot). Recipes or Recurrent groceries are good
examples of virtual places you can create.
From any grocery list you are viewing, you can import items from other grocery lists. When importing from virtual places, all items
in the list are imported. When importing from normal places, you will get asked if you want to import all items, or just items not bought.
This is great when you couldn't find everything you needed, and want to transfer those items to the next grocery list.
